I’ve used the Glossworks Moorabbin team several times now and they are outstanding auto painters. The quality of their workmanship is exceptional, and it’s clear they take real pride in what they do. Every time I collect my car, it looks brand new. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing auto paint work.

I had my badly oxidised wheels repainted just before Christmas and the guys happily fitted me and did the job within a day. The paintwork on the wheels is pristine and the car has been transformed. I will be returning for all future panel and wheel work.

Chadstone, the suburb

Chadstone is a small, mostly residential suburb in the City of Monash. It sits east of Warrigal Road and west of Huntingdale Road, with Scotchmans Creek along its southern edge and the Glen Waverley train line along its northern edge. It also takes in the area once known as Jordanville. Local landmarks include the Waverley Basketball Centre and the Jordanville Community Centre.

The big shopping centre that shares the suburb’s name is actually just over the border in Malvern East. If that’s where your car was damaged, or where you live, see our Malvern East page. The same Carnegie shop looks after you either way.

The roads Chadstone drivers deal with

The Monash Freeway runs right through the suburb. That means on-ramps, off-ramps and fast-moving traffic that suddenly bunches up. Rear-end crashes and side swipes during merges are common freeway repairs.

Warrigal Road and Huntingdale Road. These two busy north-south roads form the western and eastern edges of Chadstone and carry heavy traffic all day, with plenty of turning traffic at the lights.

Waverley Road. The main east-west road for many Chadstone residents, and the start of the drive to our shop.

Local streets with building work. Many Chadstone homes were built after the war on large blocks, and many are being knocked down and rebuilt. Trucks, skip bins and tradies’ utes on narrow streets mean more scrapes, chipped paint and damaged mirrors than you’d expect in a quiet suburb.

School drop-off. Salesian College and St Mary Magdalen’s Primary School bring busy morning and afternoon traffic, with tight parking and reversing bumps.
