What to do now
- Stay safe. Move to a safe spot if you can, and turn on your hazard lights. If anyone is hurt, call 000.
- Swap details. Get the other driver’s name, phone number, address, registration and insurance details.
- Take photos. Photograph both cars, the number plates and the scene from a few angles.
- Don’t sign anything yet. Don’t sign a form from a tow truck driver or the other driver’s insurer until you’ve talked to us.
- Call us. We’ll tell you what happens next and help you get your car moved.

- You can get a hire car arranged through our third-party partner, along with recovery, subject to their eligibility and terms.
- In most cases, you can choose your repairer. You don’t have to use the one you’re sent to.

Questions
Is my car safe to drive after a crash?
If lights are broken, a tyre or wheel is damaged, fluid is leaking or a warning light is on, don’t drive it. Call us and we’ll help you get it moved.
Can I choose where my car is repaired?
In most cases, yes. If the crash wasn’t your fault, you can usually choose your own repairer. Call us before your car is moved and we’ll explain your options.
Will I get a hire car?
If the accident wasn’t your fault, you can get a hire car arranged through our third-party partner, subject to their eligibility and terms.
Can you pick up my car?
Yes. Pick-up is available within Melbourne. Just ask when you call or message us.
How do I get a quote?
Send us photos of the damage online, WhatsApp us, or call 1300 145 677. You can also visit either shop during opening hours. Walk-ins are welcome, but booking is recommended to avoid wait times.
