Getting to us from Brighton East

To Moorabbin (44 Alex Ave), about 6 km: from around Hawthorn Road and Centre Road, cross to the Nepean Highway, head south to South Road, then east. Alex Ave is just off South Road.
From the southern side, near South Road: take South Road east the whole way.
To Carnegie (1064 Dandenong Rd), about 8 km: east along Centre Road, then north via Jasper Road and Grange Road to Dandenong Road.

Hawthorn Road runs north–south through the middle, Centre Road crosses it, and the Nepean Highway cuts across the suburb.
